Soccer Recap: Greensburg Takes a Loss

Greensburg lost against Shelbyville back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Bears. Greensburg have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Noemy Ramirez and Allie Cruser scored all three of Greensburg's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Greensburg's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Shelbyville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Greensburg will square off against Rushville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Shelbyville, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Greenfield-Central at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
