Baseball Recap: St. Catherine's Takes a Loss

St. Catherine came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-4 to the Racine Park Panthers. The Angels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

St. Catherine's saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Callis, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. That double was Callis' first of the season.

St. Catherine's has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. Racine Park's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-15.

Coming up, St. Catherine's is taking a road trip to take on East Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Racine Park has already played their next matchup (against Racine Saint Catherine?s/Racine Lutheran), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
