Preview: Clackamas vs. South Medford
Clackamas (13-0) and South Medford (12-1) face off this Saturday at 12:30 PM to determine whose season will come to a close. Both teams enjoyed a wide margin in their previous games.
Clackamas went up against Tigard last week. Clackamas got off to a good start with a 42-point offensive effort in the first half. That gave them a 42 - 7 advantage at the half. The defense contributed as well, holding Tigard to zero points in the second half. In the end, Clackamas steamrollered its way to an easy 52 - 7 victory.
As for South Medford, it can now show off eight landslide victories after its most recent game. It had all the answers against Lake Oswego last week, winning 49 - 27. With three TDs, senior Jaylin Parnell was a significant factor in the success.
South Medford and Clackamas had some big point totals in their last games, so we'll see if they bring that energy into this game.
