It's playoff time, and Oglethorpe County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Lake Oconee Academy Titans 3-0 on Wednesday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Oglethorpe County not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lake Oconee Academy between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-21.

Elizabeth Cook paced Oglethorpe County's offense, picking up 15 kills. Cook got some help from Naomi McPeake and her 28 assists. McPeake was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Oglethorpe County's win bumped their record up to 30-8. As for Lake Oconee Academy, they dropped their record down to 25-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Oglethorpe County will take on Gordon Lee at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lake Oconee Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
