Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Athens). Everything went their way against the Litchfield Terriers on Tuesday as the Athens Indians made off with a 54-30 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Athens' win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Litchfield, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Athens will be home for the holidays to greet Climax-Scotts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Litchfield will take on Waldron in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Waldron will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Litchfield surely won't give up without a fight.
