Volleyball Recap: Suffolk Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Suffolk Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Ahoskie Christian. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ahoskie Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 20-25, 25-16.

Suffolk Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ahoskie Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Suffolk Christian Academy will take on Portsmouth Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ahoskie Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Unity Christian Academy on the 8th.
