Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peru). They blew past the Brushton-Moira Panthers 29-8 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Nighthawks considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Peru now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Brushton-Moira, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Peru didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-6 defeat against Saranac on the 29th. As for Brushton-Moira, they will head out on the road to square off against Tupper Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
