Fenton is a perfect 10-0 against Kearsley since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will welcome the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fenton has four straight victories, Kearsley has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Fenton's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over Flushing. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 16 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Abby Golen was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Golen was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Lillian Tillier was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Taryn Craven, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Fenton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Kearsley fell victim to Linden and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 15-0.

Fenton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Kearsley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Fenton took their win against Kearsley when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 14-0 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
