Hawken waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their defense stepped up to hand the University School Preppers a 2-0 shutout. Give Hawken's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Stefan Zivic and Tristen Boseman scored both of Hawken's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Hawken's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for University School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.

Coming up, Hawken will head out to square off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hawken will be up against Perry's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for University School, they will be playing at home against St. Ignatius at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
