The Dover Green Wave will take on the Bedford Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Dover will be strutting in after a victory while Bedford will be coming in after a loss.

Dover hadn't beaten Nashua South on the road since April 29, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Green Wave walked away with a 14-9 win over the Purple Panthers.

Kaitlyn Jolicoerur looked comfortable as she pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Brooke Jolicoeur and Mackenzie Curry did most of the damage at the plate: Jolicoeur went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Curry went 4-for-5 with three stolen bases and four runs. Another player making a difference was Emilie Crutchfield, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Dover was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .472. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nashua South only posted a batting average of .310.

Exeter hit Bedford with a five-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs lost 12-2 to the Blue Hawks. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Blue Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

The victory got Dover back to even at 1-1. As for Bedford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
