Basketball Recap: Libby Comes Up Short

Libby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 33-30 heartbreaker at the hands of the Whitefish Bulldogs. The Loggers lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 61-30 score last time.

Libby's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Whitefish, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Libby will be playing in front of their home fans against Browning at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Whitefish, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-17 defeat against Bigfork on the 30th.
