Basketball Game Preview: DeSmet Bulldogs vs. Estelline/Hendricks

DeSmet has gone a perfect 7-0 against Estelline/Hendricks recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the DeSmet Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against Estelline/Hendricks at 6:00 p.m. DeSmet will be strutting in after a victory while Estelline/Hendricks will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, DeSmet was fully in charge, breezing past Canistota 51-24. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Estelline/Hendricks came up short against Waubay/Summit on Tuesday and fell 55-44.

DeSmet's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points over those games. As for Estelline/Hendricks, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.

DeSmet beat Estelline/Hendricks 44-31 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for DeSmet since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
