Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chester). They managed a 68-64 win over the Wesclin Warriors on Monday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Yellowjackets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Warriors are ranked 136th).

Chester pushed their record up to 13-14 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points over those games. As for Wesclin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chester won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Gibault Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wesclin, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Freeburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
