Basketball Recap: Norwood Wins High-Profile Contest Against Millis

On Tuesday, Norwood faced Millis in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Norwood Mustangs enjoyed a cozy 56-38 win over the Millis Mohawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Norwood has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for Millis, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwood will host Hopkinton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Millis, they will be playing at home against Dover-Sherborn at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Millis is facing Dover-Sherborn at the right time seeing as Dover-Sherborn is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
