Cheyenne Mountain dropped their record down to 22-9-1 on Saturday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Demons. The Red-Tailed Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Demons earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Cheyenne Mountain saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jansen Roberts, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

As for Golden, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 23 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.

On Golden's side, Taden Svendsen tossed a big game, tossing 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. Svendsen has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Luca Casali, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Liam Leffert was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

As of now, neither Cheyenne Mountain nor Golden have any future games scheduled.
