Volleyball Recap: Dracut Middies vs. Haverhill Hillies
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greater Lowell Tech, Dracut was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Haverhill Hillies. That's more bragging rights for the Middies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
While Dracut might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Haverhill scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 23-25, 28-26.
Logan Phousengthong paced Dracut's offense, picking up 12 kills. Phousengthong got some help from Alexander Sophuok and his 24 assists. Remey Nhim controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Dracut's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Haverhill, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
