Volleyball Recap: Cottonwood Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Cottonwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Park City Miners by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Cottonwood might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Park City scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 20-25, 25-22.

Cottonwood's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Park City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Cottonwood has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Cyprus on the 3rd. After both having extra time off, Park City and Tooele will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Miners are facing the Buffaloes at the right time seeing as the Buffaloes are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
