Softball Game Preview: Lakeview Huskies vs. Fraser Ramblers

The Lakeview Huskies will head out to challenge the Fraser Ramblers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fraser took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lakeview, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Lakeview was able to grind out a solid win over Sterling Heights Stevenson, taking the game 5-1. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won three in a row.

Regina hit Fraser with a four-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Ramblers lost 14-6 to Regina.

Jazlyn Wooten and Isabel Wilson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Wooten went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double, while Wilson got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one run.

The win got Lakeview back to even at 3-3. As for Fraser, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season.

Lakeview might still be hurting after the 15-2 defeat they got from Fraser in their previous matchup on April 8th. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
