Baseball Recap: Smith Vo-Tech Has No Trouble Against Sabis International

Smith Vo-Tech won the last time they faced Sabis International and things went their way on Thursday too. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Pat Millin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Millin was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Smith Vo-Tech got a massive performance out of James Lavallee, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Kaleb Jorritsma was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Smith Vo-Tech has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Sabis International, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smith Vo-Tech will face off against Westfield Technical Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Vikings their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Sabis International, they will challenge Putnam Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
