Soccer Recap: Westview Takes a Loss

If Westview was feeling good fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Burke last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolverines fell just short of the Omaha Central Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The game was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Westview couldn't quite close it out.

Kalaya Catron wasn't going to let Omaha Central walk away unscathed as she scored both of Westview's goals, bringing her season total up to three goals.

Westview dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Omaha Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Westview is set to square off against their familiar foe Omaha Northwest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Omaha Central will take on rival Millard South at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
