Soccer Recap: Nixon Comes Up Short

If Nixon was riding high fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Mission last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Nixon Mustangs fell 6-4 to the Palmview Lobos on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Lobos: they've now lost three in a row.

Nixon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Palmview, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Nixon will square off against Mission Veterans Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th. As for Palmview, they will take on Rio Grande City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
