Soccer Recap: Dunbar Comes Up Short

Dunbar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 7-2 to the Carter-Riverside Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in January.

Dunbar's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Carter-Riverside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Dunbar will head out to take on Young Men's Leadership Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dunbar is facing Young Men's Leadership Academy at the right time seeing as Young Men's Leadership Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Diamond Hill-Jarvis will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Carter-Riverside surely won't give up without a fight.
