Volleyball Recap: Wakefield Triumphs

Wakefield won the last time they faced St. Xavier and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bombers came out on top against the Rams by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bombers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wakefield took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12.

Wakefield's victory bumped their record up to 3-19-1. As for St. Xavier, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Wakefield has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Solomon on the 11th. As for St. Xavier, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Cornerstone Family on the 14th.
