Elm Creek is 8-2 against Loomis since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Elm Creek Buffaloes will take on the Loomis Wolves in a tournament on Monday. Elm Creek is coming into the match hot, having won their last 12 games.

Last Friday, Elm Creek didn't have too much trouble with Overton as they won 64-50. Given the Buffaloes' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Eagles are ranked 125th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Elm Creek's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chelsea Kottich, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 14 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Kendal Cavenee was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 11 points along with five assists and five steals.

Loomis fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Ansley/Litchfield by a score of 48-39 on Saturday.

Elm Creek pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points per game. As for Loomis, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-16.

Everything came up roses for Elm Creek against Loomis in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 69-36 victory. Will Elm Creek repeat their success, or does Loomis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
