Corona del Sol faced Highland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Aztecs came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 2-0. The Aztecs' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Hayden Conner paced Corona del Sol's offense, picking up 17 kills. Conner got some help from Adelyn Chang and her 31 assists.

Corona del Sol's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Highland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Corona del Sol wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against O'Connor on the 30th. As for Highland, they will host Chandler at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
