Holton and Silver Lake squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Holton had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Holton had strong showings from Kinley Fluke, who had 15 assists and ten digs, and Faith Olberding, who had eight assists and five digs.

Jaylie Whitehead was a one-woman wrecking crew For Silver Lake. as she had 20 digs. Whitehead has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Holton's defeat dropped their record down to 37-10. As for Silver Lake, the win (which was their 35th in a row) raised their record to 45-1.
