Byron Nelson entered their tilt with Keller Central on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They strolled past the Chargers with points to spare, taking the game 42-28. Given the Bobcat's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Chargers are ranked 343rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Parker Almanza produced another solid performance rushing for 66 yards and two TDs, while also throwing for 149 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Macavion Hill was another key player, rushing for 74 yards and one score.

Byron Nelson's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Keller Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
