Volleyball Recap: Alton Redbirds vs. O'Fallon Panthers

Alton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the O'Fallon Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redbirds of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

Alton was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring ten points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10.

Anaiah Clanton El paced Alton's offense, picking up three kills. Clanton El got some help from Berlyn Clayton and her six assists.

O'Fallon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Katelyn Hruby led the charge by getting four aces. Those four aces gave Hruby a new career-high.
