Basketball Recap: Horseshoe Bend Mustangs vs. Salmon River Savages
Horseshoe Bend was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 55-12 defeat at the hands of the Salmon River Savages. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Savages are ranked 30th).

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ashlyn Wolsleben, who posted three points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Wolsleben is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Asher, who had four points.
Even though they lost, Horseshoe Bend smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.
Horseshoe Bend's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Salmon River, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
