Baseball Recap: Addison Finds Home Field Redemption Against Alfred-Almond

There's no place like home for Addison, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Alfred-Almond Eagles by a score of 10-7 on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won nine in a row.

Andrew Jones was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Jones was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caleb Stuby, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Zane Specht was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Addison hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in five consecutive matchups.

Addison's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Alfred-Almond, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
