Basketball Recap: Islesboro Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Temple Academy on Friday, Islesboro Central came back down to earth. The Islesboro Central Eagles lost 55-32 to the Carrabec Cobras on Saturday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Cobras recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Islesboro Central now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Carrabec, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

When Islesboro Central and Carrabec next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Islesboro Central will try to stop Valley's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Carrabec will try to stop Mount Abram's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
