It's playoff time, and University had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the DeLand Bulldogs on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Brody Costantine got the start for University and what a start it was: he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Costantine has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jaiden Palmer, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Aaden Shaw, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

University's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for DeLand, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

University has already played their next contest, an 11-0 loss against Spruce Creek on the 16th. DeLand does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
