Mae Jemison extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday, bumping them up to 4-0. They strolled past the Oakwood Academy Mustangs with points to spare, taking the game 60-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-53 last Tuesday.

As for Oakwood Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Oakwood Academy lost, don't look at Jadon Williams. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 18 points and 15 boards. Williams is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 11 games he's played dating back to last season. Jamel Myrie also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Coming up, Mae Jemison will square off against Dothan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oakwood Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Gadsden City on Monday.
