Everything went their way against the Steilacoom Sentinels on Thursday as they made off with a 24-14 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Sentinels: they've now won eight in a row.
Norah Fenton was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, 11 RBI, and four runs. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Claire Carlson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Orting kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 16 hits in three consecutive contests.
