Preview: Neshaminy Skins vs. Harry S. Truman Tigers

Neshaminy is 9-1 against Harry S. Truman since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Neshaminy Skins will get right back to it and host the Harry S. Truman Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Harry S. Truman took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Neshaminy, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, it was close, but Neshaminy sidestepped Upper Merion Area for a 54-51 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Neshaminy.

Nate Townsend continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. Townsend set a new season high mark in rebounds with nine. Another player making a difference was Max Currie, who scored six points along with five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Harry S. Truman's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 39-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pennsbury. While losing is never fun, Harry S. Truman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 371st, while Pennsbury is ranked 26th).

The victory got Neshaminy back to even at 3-3. As for Harry S. Truman, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything came up roses for Neshaminy against Harry S. Truman in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 61-33 win. Will Neshaminy repeat their success, or does Harry S. Truman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
