Volleyball Game Preview: Tomah Timberwolves vs. Middleton Cardinals + How To Watch

Tomah is 0-5 against Middleton since October of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Timberwolves will take on the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Tomah didn't have quite enough to beat Aquinas and fell 3-2. While the Timberwolves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Blugolds 25-18 in the first set.

Tomah took Aquinas into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-15, 25-16, 17-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Middleton came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Rockets.

Middleton's victory bumped their record up to 21-12. As for Tomah, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-17.

Tomah might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Middleton when the teams last played back in October of 2023. Can the Timberwolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
