Recap: Haskell Indians vs. Valley Patriots
The Haskell Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They lost to Valley on the road by a decisive 46-28 margin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Haskell has scored all season.
Valley found their leader in underclassman Kanyon Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Taylor's third in a row with at least ten points. Tucker Schlueter was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Haskell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Valley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Forsan the next time they take the court. Valley will head out to face Forsan at 11:40 a.m. on Thursday, while Haskell will head out to face them at 11:40 a.m. on Friday.
