Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Washington County). They put the hurt on the Hart County Raiders with a sharp 12-3 victory on Tuesday. The Commanders have beaten the Raiders the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Raiders has come to flipping the script.

Ayden Gonzalez looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Washington County got a big performance out of Sebastian Saucedo, who scored a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Saucedo also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Dylan Mattingly was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Washington County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .523. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Washington County now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Hart County, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-4-1.
