Lawrence North has gone 9-1 against Warren Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wildcats will challenge the Warriors at 1:00 p.m. Lawrence North will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Lawrence North is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over Indianapolis Arsenal Technical.

Brendan Boynton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Lawrence North is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 11-13 otherwise. Boynton was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Anthony Ludington was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Matthew Cunningham was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Warren Central ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Anderson 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since April 23rd.
Like Lawrence North, Warren Central also got a great game from a two-way player: Keith Jackson. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). Jackson has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dylan Thompson, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Xavier Ott also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Lawrence North's record is now 13-14. As for Warren Central, their record now sits at 6-16-1.
Lawrence North beat Warren Central 8-3 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
