Fernandina Beach's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Hilliard Red Flashes as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Red Flashes: they've now won eight in a row.

Fernandina Beach never let Hilliard on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-22.

Fernandina Beach's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sara Drawdy, who had 28 assists and three aces. Those 28 assists gave Drawdy a new career-high. Ava Maggart was another key player, getting ten kills.
