Recap: Williston-Elko Blue Devils vs. North Eagles

While it was all tied up 29-29 at halftime, the Williston-Elko Blue Devils were not quite the North Eagles's equal in the second half on Tuesday. Williston-Elko fell 64-52 to North. Williston-Elko has not had much luck with North recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

North's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Stetson Stacks, who scored 17 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. Stacks hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Ashton Jamison, who scored 17 points along with five assists.

Williston-Elko has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for North, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Williston-Elko will head out on the road to face off against Ridge Spring-Monetta at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridge Spring-Monetta and Williston-Elko are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wagener-Salley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wagener-Salley is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
