Carroll is 10-0 against Clinton Central since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Carroll Cougars will take on the Clinton Central Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Carroll fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Northwestern on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 52-50. The Cougars' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Clinton Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a blow against Clinton Prairie, falling 69-37. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while the Gophers are ranked 113th).

Clinton Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Carroll, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3.

Carroll beat Clinton Central 58-45 when the teams last played back in January. Does Carroll have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clinton Central turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
