Basketball Game Preview: Sullivan Redskins vs. Tuscola Warriors

Sullivan has won four straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Tuscola has won four straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Sullivan Redskins will host the Tuscola Warriors at 2:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Sullivan came up short against Nokomis and fell 53-43. The contest marked Sullivan's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Tuscola on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Urbana University out of the water with a 79-13 final score. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 21 points or more this season.

Sullivan now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Tuscola, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Sullivan took a serious blow against Tuscola in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 66-27. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Sullivan was down 41-20.
