Basketball Recap: Discovery Canyon Thunder vs. Air Academy Kadets

Discovery Canyon lost against Air Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Discovery Canyon Thunder were dealt a 74-39 defeat at the hands of the Air Academy Kadets. While losing is never fun, the Thunder can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Kadets are ranked fifth).

Despite the loss, Discovery Canyon saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dillan McComb went 6 of 13 on her way to 12 points and five boards.
