Softball Recap: Crown Point's Undefeated Season over After 12 Games

Crown Point and Argyle squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Crown Point had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Scots by a score of 3-2. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Crown Point saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makenna Munson, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Crown Point fell to 11-1. As for Argyle, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Crown Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Argyle, they will square off against Hamilton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Emerald Knights will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Scots surely won't give up without a fight.
