Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Abernathy). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 55-14 victory over the Floydada Whirlwinds. The Antelopes haven't had any issues with the Whirlwinds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Abernathy back to even at 4-4. As for Floydada, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abernathy will welcome Olton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Antelopes will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Floydada, they will host Post at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
