Softball Recap: Alhambra Takes a Loss

If Alhambra was feeling good fresh off their 14-1 takedown of Acalanes on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 13-3 to the College Park Falcons on Saturday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Genevieve Hernandez was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Alhambra has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12-1 record this season. As for College Park, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

As of now, neither Alhambra nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
