Basketball Game Preview: Palmer Ridge Bears vs. Lewis-Palmer Rangers

Palmer Ridge hasn't had much luck against Lewis-Palmer recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Palmer Ridge Bears are taking a road trip to challenge the Lewis-Palmer Rangers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Palmer Ridge ended up a good deal behind Lutheran and lost 60-44. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Lions are ranked 19th).

Meanwhile, Lewis-Palmer came up short against Cheyenne Mountain on Friday and fell 57-47.

This is the second loss in a row for Palmer Ridge and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Lewis-Palmer, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Palmer Ridge couldn't quite finish off Lewis-Palmer when the teams last played back in January and fell 44-41. Can Palmer Ridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
