Volleyball Recap: Rodriguez Comes Up Short

After flying high against Vanden on Monday, Rodriguez came back down to earth. The Mustangs came up short against the Pioneer Patriots on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Rodriguez ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-19.

Rodriguez now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Pioneer, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Rodriguez nor Pioneer have any future games scheduled.
