Softball Recap: Georgiana Drops Highest Score of Season Against Monroe County

Georgiana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 25-13 to the Monroe County Tigers. On the bright side, the 13- run performance marked the Panthers' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Georgiana's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Monroe County, their victory ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.

Coming up, Georgiana will face off against Calhoun at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Monroe County, they will challenge Hillcrest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
